Hi, I am Barbra Ardila.  I am a wife, a mother of four beautiful children, co-owner of On The Ball Soccer, Inc. , President of our
Home-Owner's Association, PTO member at our local elementary school and a Family Manager Coach. By the grace of God
and the systems I have learned over the years......I get it all done!

I was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. When I was around 2 years old, my family moved to Richardson, Texas. I attended J.J.
Pearce High School (Class of '89) and graduated from the University of North Texas (class of '93) with a BA in Counselor
Education.

I met my husband in college and we married soon after graduation. After college I was an Orthodontic Assistant and then I
worked for several years as an Office Administrator for Promise Keepers. Our first child arrived in 1998 and at that point I came
home to be a full-time stay at home mommy.  We then proceeded to add to our family in 2000, 2002 and 2004. At that point
our quiver was full!

Around the time my boys were 1 and 3 years old and I was pregnant with our daughter, it became VERY clear that I needed a
system.  By the end of the day I was exhausted and felt defeated as I looked around my home at cranky children, a hungry
husband and a load of things on my to-do list that never seemed to get done .  I knew I needed some guidance.  I searched the
web to see how a daycare ran their days and thought I would try to model our family schedule the same way.  I tweaked their
system to work for our family life and it was fantastic! My children were engaged in meaningful activities, meals were planned
and cooked, laundry was not as bad, I had time with friends, time alone and  my to-do list had things marked off!

Over the years we have added children and while the ages and activities have changed the systems have not.  Because of my
never ending schedule with 4 active children, I now have simple systems that allow me to get more accomplished.  I enjoy the
challenge of finding easier ways to do the things I have to get done and learn how to let go of the things that are just not
necessary.

At the beginning of 2007, I completed Family Manager® University and became the first certified coach in McKinney, TX.  For
the last 10 years, (prior to becoming a Certified Family Manager Coach)  I have helped many families, college students, and
newly weds work through financial struggles, learn how and what to feed their family, figure out how to schedule their days and
a host of other real life issues.

I am a woman with a mission. I would love to see women from all walks of life recognize the role we take in building strong
families. I would love to see women take pride in their work as a Family Manager and recognize what an honorable and worthy
role we play in the lives of others.

I am
NOT a perfect Family Manager. I am, however,  deeply committed to my family and will work hard to help us develop
individually and as a team.
create a happy, organized home!
