iMOM Personal Grocery Shopper

The iMOM  is a complete shopping service, which includes grocery shopping and gift shopping.  She will also run errands and drop off/pick up prescriptions. She will do
your shopping and deliver straight to your home or place of business!

The iMOM will shop for you as if she were shopping for her own family.
Frequently Asked Questions:

  • When should I order? Orders should be placed at least 24 hours in advance. Rush service is available for an additional fee.


  • How should I order? It is very important that you be as specific as possible about brands, amounts, weights, varieties, etc. in order for your
    personal shopper to deliver complete customer satisfaction. Please be sure to include size, brand, description, and quantity. The iMOM is an
    experienced and discerning shopper, but any instructions that you can supply are always necessary for satisfying you, our client.

  • How do you handle when a product I requested is out of stock? Unless you tell us otherwise, we follow these guidelines on substitutions:

1. If a brand is not listed, we choose one of good quality.

2. If a size is not listed, regular or medium will be selected.

3. If your item is unavailable, we choose the smaller size over larger in the same product you specified.

4. If no size is available, we find a comparable brand for you.

5. If we cannot find a suitable match, we will delete the item from your order and you will be informed at time of delivery.
The iMOM cannot be held
responsible for any items out of stock .

If you do not want us to substitute or have particular items you do not want substituted, please indicate this when you submit your order in the special
instructions area.


  • When do I pay? You provide an estimated payment up-front for the cost of the groceries, plus the shopping fee. At the time of delivery, you will
    receive a copy of the receipt and either pay the balance or be reimbursed the difference.

  • What forms of payment do you accept? We accept cash payment, credit cards (via Pay Pal), money orders and personal checks.

  • Where do you shop? Grocery shopping is done at Tom Thumb or Wal-Mart, unless you specify another store.

  • Do you refund products? No. Groceries can not be returned or refunded by us which is why we ask you to give us complete instructions in
    regard to your choices and any substitutions if they are desired providing a specific item is not available (we will be happy to get a rain check for
    you if a substitute is not desired).  

  • Can you use my discount or preferred shopper's card?  Yes. If you have a discount or preferred shopper's card, please give a copy of the
    card to The iMOM so you can still accrue discounts and points for gasoline.  If you don't have a discount or preferred shopper's card and would
    like one, we can bring you an application or you can call the store for details. For your convenience, The iMOM can retain your grocery discount
    card for future use.  Grocery discount cards are kept in a locked safe accessible only to the owner of the business.

  • What if I have coupons? You are welcome to provide coupons to me at  time of service.

  • What if I need you to put my groceries away for me? The iMOM offers this as an additional service.

  • How do you handle entry into my home? You are asked to sign a Key Release Form giving us permission to enter your home and give you
    the options of one of the following:

  1.        You may leave the key on file. All keys are kept in a locked safe accessible only to the owner of the iMOM.
  2.        You may have us pick up and drop off your key at each service request.  However, this will incur a small service fee for any additional trip
    that is independent of the actual service.

  • What if I have an alarm system? We ask that you provide the name, phone number and pass code to facilitate entrance.  Unless services are
    performed on a regular basis it is recommended that a temporary pass code be set up that can be changed at conclusion of each service.
How It Works...

1.  Send me your grocery list via email or by telephone.

2.  Together we arrange a time for delivery.

3.  I do the shopping according to your grocery list.

4.  I deliver the groceries at our prearrange time*.

5.  You provide an estimated payment up-front for the cost of the groceries,
plus the shopping fee. At the time of delivery, you will receive a copy of the
receipt and either pay the balance or be reimbursed the difference.

* ADDITIONAL SERVICE: The iMOM can arrange to deliver to your home
and put your groceries away when you are not able to meet.
Shopping Fees:

GROCERY TOTAL UP TO $150.00 = $30.00 fee

GROCERY TOTAL $150.00-$300.00 = $35.00 fee

GROCERY TOTAL OVER $300.00 = $15% of total

(fees included shopping, delivery and mileage)
    Payment Options:

    1. You may provide cash prior to the grocery
    visit. (Proof of Cash Transaction).

    2. You may provide us with a dated blank
    check made payable to the third party with
    your signature on it.  We would then fill in the
    amount of the purchase and provide you with a
    receipt of the purchase.

    3.  You may fill out a “Credit Card
    Authorization Form" (at our initial meeting)
    giving us permission to use your credit card or
    credit card information for your purchases.
